Motherhood“… How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing!” Matthew 23:37 (NKJV) “As one whom his mother comforts, So I will comfort you;” Isaiah 66:13 (NKJV) Dear Lord, I thank You for Mothers everywhere. I thank You for My Mother, I thank you for Spiritual Mothers, and I thank You for the heart of a Mother. God, You indeed portray the heart of a Mother, and may we continually come to You. Comfort our hearts and heal our pain, and bandage up our “boo boos.” Thank You for all of the Mothers who have prayed, cried, corrected, taxied, encouraged, strengthened, and loved us throughout our lives. There is no one like a Mother. Thank You, God, for being El Shaddai, “The Almighty” and “The Many-Breasted One.” You look out for us, O God, with dominion, authority, and power.
